The public is urged to complete the customer-satisfaction surveys when they visit the police station as this helps the SAPS rate their service towards the community. The questionnaire can be filled in and any additional problems or details can be written on the back of the form to ensure that they are correctly submitted and addressed. This will also enable them to reinforce and improve their service delivery.
The White River Community Policing Forum (CPF) has applauded this move and says this is a good way to monitor how officers treat community members and how the community feels about the police station.
CPF chairman Ockie Brits also reminded community members that complaints regarding the station or police officers can be submitted to him at whiterivercpf@gmail.com He promises to address these with the relevant people as soon as possible.
