Construction of new township development on schedule

The installation of services for the brand-new township development, DeRust Lifestyle Estate, is well underway, says general manager Mr Kobus Koekemoer.

The waste-water treatment plant and the purification system is currently being installed, with the rest of the services to follow within the next month.

The development is close to the R40 and the town centre and is set to be a sizable expansion of the town. It will be completely fenced in, with parks, a community office, and possibly a private school.

Interestingly, homeowners will have the option to start off with a small, basic home and expand as their family or budget grow.

During an info day held in March, potential buyers could explore the first luxury home to be completed and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the construction.

Koekemoer says their recent info day on May 10 didn’t draw as big a crowd as the previous one, but a smaller group of serious buyers.
