OHRIGSTAD – Just a week after the horrifying bus accident at Lekkerhoek on May 28, another tragedy occurred in the area.
A man was run over by a car on the R36 between Ohrigstad and Hoedspruit on May 29 at about 18:30.
According to spokesman for the Ohrigstad police, Const Kholofelo Phokane, the SAPS found the victim in the middle of the road when they arrived. The man was declared dead on the scene.
