A total of eleven suspects were arrested on various charges including possession of dagga, theft and drinking liquor in public last weekend.
The following men were appprehended:
• Kwanele Kunene (22), Andries Girunki (24), Robert Mthombeni (43) and Thabo Malale (25) for possession of dagga
• Ntombi Mabuza (40), Khulekani Lekhuleni (28) and Sibusiso Nkosi (24).
Another four were arrested for illegal gambling.
Seven of the suspects appeared in the White River Magistrate’s Court on June 9 of whom four paid fines.
