Underprivileged have a feast
"This was really a life-changing experience for me and spending time with the kids and making them smile was so heart-warming."

MBOMBELA – This past weekend “Feed my Lambs”, a feeding scheme driven by Ira Pillay, Mrs United Nations SA, resulted in hundreds of smiling faces at the Wood House Community Centre.
She said she thought of going the extra mile on Mandela Day and inspired the community to get on board with this special project. According to Pillay, the word that she would like to feed the underprivileged on this day, spread like wildfire and contributions streamed in. Not only did Mrs Lowveld, Melony Naidoo, join in the celebrations but also Sir South Africa, Tylor Kotze, Nathi Blessings Twala of Blessed Sobi Creations as well as the ANC Youth League, learners of Lowveld High School and Beezy Beez Pre-School.
After the event Naidoo expressed her gratitude toward Pillay and said she felt blessed to be part of such a great project.
“What you are doing for these people and children is truly amazing and they are blessed to have you give them a plate of food every day. This was really a life-changing experience for me and spending time with the kids and making them smile was so heart-warming,” Naidoo concluded.
