SKHILA – Against all odds the Class of 2015 from Skhila High School has scored a 100 per cent pass rate.

The school had achieved a 91 per cent pass rate last year. They managed to pull up their socks and everyone passed. 45 learners wrote the exams, 17 passed with university admission, 15 attained admission to study diplomas and 13 learners got higher certificates.

The school attained 12 distinctions in Sepedi home language and one distinction in life orientation. Tevin Tau, Tshegofatso Lekgau and André Mthimunye are the top learners of the school.

According to the principal Mr Tshepo Mokoena, he is impressed with the improvement of the learners. “Our target was 100 per cent and we did it,” he said.

The school has various challenges including shortages of classes and they had previously asked for donations from the public.
