The manager, Marina Lotter and her staff discovered the theft the next morning. The window had been broken and burglar bars cut and ten saddles, 17 halters and 12 helmets were missing.
Dogs were used to follow the suspects’ trail but it appears that the culprits had cut the fence and loaded the stolen goods onto a vehicle.
Spes-Plan Security, the police and Hi-Tech Security were on the scene and the case is being investigated.
Lotter told the journalist that she had been threatened by the son of one of her former workers about six weeks ago, who said he would “make sure her business went bankrupt”. She immediately reported it to the police, who gave the man a stern warning.
