Kids receive embroidred towels

This project was started by women who specifically wanted to make a difference in the lives of the schoolchildren with special needs.

LYDENBURG – Last Thursday a group of women warmed the hearts of pupils from Estralita Special School by handing them towels embroidered with their names on.

This project was started by women who specifically wanted to make a difference in the lives of the schoolchildren with special needs.

According to Hanlie Swanepoel, principal of Estralita, the school was thankful for the team of women’s handiwork.

“It means a lot to us. We appreciate the effort and also a big thank you to the sponsors who helped to see the project through.”

A big thank you to Korn Steel, Ria van der Westhuizen, Petro Bouwer and the women from Bernina Lydenburg they all really made a difference by joining hands with the women,” she said.
