Ms Robyn Baard, spokesman for the hospital, said the patients both sustained fractures and were in stable conditions.
Ms Athlenda Mathe, media liaison officer for Netcare 911, said the accident occurred on the Low’s Creek Road between Kaapmuiden and Barberton at about 01:30.
“The exact detail of the collision remains a subject for police investigation and comment.”
Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside various emergency services on the scene to stabilise the injured.
