Alleged thieves arrested
During the same afternoon, five suspects were arrested after they were found with the stolen properties. Three suspects were arrested in Kgautswane while the others were arrested while heading to Lydenburg.
OHRIGSTAD – The local police officers reacted swiftly to apprehend suspected burglars who allegedly robbed farm owners at Strydfontein during the morning of June 26.
According to the communications officer of the Ohrigstad SAPS Const Kholofelo Phokane they received a call from the farmers after they were robbed off their belongings.
“The victims were in anguish and traumatised state when they reported the matter to our station. Thanks to our dedicated team who hunted the suspects.
