Annatjie Myburgh case: Case postponed

They have been charged with kidnapping, robbery and murder.

WHITE RIVER – The two men accused of kidnapping Ms Annatjie Myburgh on June 15 this year reappeared in the White River Magistrate’s Court today.

The case was postponed toTuesday for one of the accused, Mr Paul Mathebula, to apply for a possible bail.

The other accused, Mr Selby Mabila’s bail application has been abandoned, the court heard.

When she disappeared that Wednesday morning, the White River community launched a massive search for her.

It lasted for four days until Myburgh’s body was found in the Numbi area, close to the Kruger National Park’s Numbi gate.

Two men were arrested following her death.  Their first court appearances occurred separately.
