Boredom is something of the past for a Liquor City customer, Abram Thokwane. This lucky shopper was recently announced as the store’s winner in its Table Soccer competition. A delighted Thokwane told Steelburger/Lydenburg News that he would put the soccer table in his lounge where he would play with his family and friends. “I am a soccer fanatic, I will perfect my playing skills with this soccer table.” Josias Nkoana, manager of Liquor City, said the store ran a competition where buyers who bought either a 12-pack of Black Label beer or a 24, stood a chance to win the gadget. “He is a regular client, it was no surprise when his name was picked by SAB as the winner,” Nkoana said. The competition started on July 1 and ended on August 12. Here are Abram Thokwane and Josias Nkwana.
