Get ready for some Vrr Pha this weekend

Here is everything you need to know about this weekend's York Rally, formerly known as the Sasol Rally.

The York Rally, formerly known as the Sasol Rally, is heading to the Lowveld this weekend. York Timbers and The South African Motorsport Club (SAM)  recently announced that York is now the sponsor after Sasol unexpectedly withdrew.

The rally, which is the second leg of the 2017 National Rally Championships (NRC), will unfortunately for some, have no reconnaissance of the tarmac stages, so there will be no action in White River and Mbombela this year.

The event will start in Sabie on Friday morning and will once again finish in Sabie on Saturday afternoon with a novelty flyover spectator stage on the outskirts of Sabie. The approximately 210 kilometres will consist of gravel as well as tar stages.
