MALALANE – For the past few weeks, Nkomazi residents found the local Labour Centre closed and had to queue on the sidewalk to complete their business.
Following complaints from the community, Corridor Gazette contacted the Department of Labour to clarify the situation.
According to Mr Tony Mphahlele, the provincial communication officer, the centre is temporarily closed to the public due to renovations.
The department reportedly sent the municipality the information regarding the closure, and a message was broadcasted on Ligwalagwala FM and Nkomazi FM.
