The vehicles included mostly vintage models.
Walking on the red carpet rolled across the schoolyard, the learners felt like film stars attending a movie premiere. Parents, friends, family members and relatives were there to witness the much-anticipated event.
The elegant young adults dazzled in their sophisticated attire. Expensive hairdos and dresses, make-up and stylish shoes were the order of the day.
The last leg of the farewell was held at African Rest Lodge (commonly known as Emantongomaneni) later that day.
In attendance were some of the teachers and members of the school governing body, including motivational speakers.

Past Ezra Maziya said as the learners were about to complete their matric, they will have their keys in hand.
“With matric you can go everywhere. As a human being, you must ensure that you finish what you have started. To many of you, this journey to matric started back in 2005 and you are about to finish it. As you will go to various tertiary institutions for your chosen careers, ensure that you will finish,” said Maziya.
Last year the school attained a pass rate of 87 per cent, and this year it aims to improve. A total of 82 learners will write this year’s examinations.
