BREAKING: Bomb threat at municipality

LYDENBURG – Just after 09:00 this morning, Thaba Chweu Local Municipality (TCLM), received a threat of a possible bomb in the building.

All employees and ratepayers have been evacuated from the premises.

SAPS are urging residents to stay clear of the area until it has been declared safe. The bomb squad from Whiteriver is on their way with the K9 dogs to do a sweep of the building in order to establish if the threat is real.

In the meantime, residents are urged to make use of other roads as the entire municipal block has been barricaded.
