Update: One dead and three injured in N4 accident
Road has been reopened following the crash earlier this morning.
MBOMBELA- It has been confirmed that the accident, which occurred between Cairn and the Mataffin Ringroad, claimed the life of the driver this morning. Only the one vehicle was involved.

According to Steve Daly from Emer-G-Med the accident occurred when the male driver of the Toyota Hilux lost control of the vehicle at around 08:30.

Three people were also moderately injured. Daly indicated that the passengers were taken to Rob Ferreira Hospital to be treated.
BREAKING NEWS: Mataffin Ringroad accident claims a life
MBOMBELA – A bakkie that overturned between Cairn and the Mataffin Ringroad has left one dead and one in a serious condition.
The fast lane in the westbound direction is currently closed for recovery.
