Guess the value, win the “happy juice”
Four veterinarians from Pro-Life in Mbombela as well as local veterinarian, Dr Marietjie Malan will take part in the mass sterilisation day.

LYDENBURG – Whether you like tequila, brandy or whiskey you can win a whole wheelbarrow to tickle your taste buds.
That’s right, a whole wheelbarrow full of alcoholic beverages is up for grabs for one lucky individual. Home 4 Paws does not only look after abandoned animals, it also makes sure that its loyal supporters can win some “happy juice” to celebrate the shelter’s third birthday.
All you have to do is buy an R100 ticket, guess the total value of all the combined liquor and you could walk away with all the booze contained in the wheelbarrow. Beverages include brandy, whiskey, beer, shooters, liqueur, wines, mixes, ciders and lots more.
Tickets can be purchased at Cathy Schutte of Home 4 Paws, Awesome Entertainment, LDR Tools, Steelburger/Lydenburg News, Imbali Nursery and Keyjunky Locksmith.
According to Schutte, all proceeds and money for the competition will go towards a mass dog sterilisation campaign in town. “The date will be announced after the competition has ended. Four veterinarians from Pro-Life in Mbombela as well as local veterinarian, Dr Marietjie Malan will take part in the mass sterilisation day.”
She said that the day is aimed at helping less privileged people living in and around town, who sometimes cannot afford the sterilisation of their dogs. “Whether you have one or six dogs we want to help you to neuter your dogs. Anyone who otherwise is not able to afford these procedures can then come to have their dogs sterilised.
As a community, we can make this day a huge success and combat the constant abandonment unwanted dogs.” Venues, as well as the dates and established times, will be announced in Steelburger/ Lydenburg News and our Facebook page.
