Load shedding has commenced

LYDENBURG – Eskom has confirmed that load shedding has commenced with stage 1.

The power giant has announced that power cuts have started as from 11:29 today (Friday). “We anticipate that this will continue until 21:00 tonight. This is due to the impact of the current illegal protest action by some Eskom employees at various sites over wage increases.”
