Community praise and worship for a city, country governed by the Lord

Members from various church denominations attended. The praise and worship was lead by members of Lowveld Worship United while the prayer was led by Past TJ Maré - also the organiser.

“I’m coming back to the heart of worship and it’s all about you, Jesus.” These are the lyrics of one of the songs sung at the community praise and worship held at the Nelspruit Rugby Club on Monday evening.  It was also the main message of what they aimed to do – turn back to the Lord.

Past TJ Maré and Flip van Rensburg from Highway Ministries.

“We are praying about six major points this evening,” Maré explained. These were home and family, neighbourhood, workplace and business, various forms of government, the church and protection – especially on the roads.

“We will also pray for the current fires raging in George,” Maré said, A major focus point in both the worship and the prayer was turning the city around and putting it back in God’s hands for safekeeping.

They also collected Bibles that were given to Highway Ministries for further distribution. After the evening of worship and prayer was over, Maré and several other motorcycle riders took to the streets to raise awareness.

It was a wonderful evening that left everyone who attended with a big smile and a humble heart.
