Collision causes minor delay for bus and taxi

BARBERTON – A Buscor bus was hit from behind by a Toyota Venture taxi earlier this morning.

Fortunately no one was injured.

The incident happened at Graveville section in Emjindini at around 06:20. The bus was parked and loading passengers when the taxi collided with it from behind.

Passengers on board were delayed for few minutes. The bus was en-route from Barberton to Mbombela.

Provincial traffic officials arrived on the scene and controlled traffic.

They allowed both drivers to proceed with their trips to their respective destinations to drop off the passengers on-board.

They were ordered to come back to the Barberton SAPS to open an accident report docket.
