BURGERSFORT – The community of Aloe Ridge is concerned about a leaking sewage next to King Fisher and Tubatse homes. According to locals, sewage has been leaking for the past three years.”The municipality workers will come in their trucks, check it and leave without fixing it. The next day you will see the spillage again,” said resident, Thomas Mbonyeha.

Another resident, Laston Jimmy, said, “There is a manhole spillage next to our homes. Sometimes there is waste and our pets and kids play there.”

Sekhukhune District Municipality’s spokesman, Willy Mosoma, said they will look to remedy the situation in Aloe Ridge.”We urge people to report incidents of water leakages and pipe bursts to our offices in the town. “Our team is fixing breakdowns every day. We will send our team to fix the leaking pipes.”
