Ice cream is a serious affair for White River Care Buddies
White River Care Buddies distributed 230 ice creams to the residents of Rustig and Macadamia homes on October 24.
The day was filled with sweetness and, to add to the excitement, Salome and Okie Rotcher pitched in to assist with their Harley Davidson motorbikes to transport the treats.
The old folk felt thoroughly spoiled and enjoyed every moment of the day. There were big smiles all around and this just added to the value of the work that the White River Care Buddies do.

The White River Care Buddies will host their annual Christmas party at the NG Church Hall White River for the homes on Wednesday, November 6 and are expecting about 200 guests to attend.
They will include gifts for all and Father Christmas will be present at the event. They will also sing Christmas carols and will be entertained by the Uplands choir.
The Lowveld Buddies will also have their year-end function at Bundu on December 4 for buddies from Barberton, Nelspruit, White River and Sabie. They will all get together to enjoy each others’ company and some lunch.
