Thaba Moshate hands over toilets to needy school

"No flushing toilets or proper ablution facilities leave learners exposed to a number of life threatening diseases" said the resort's General Manager, Tshegetso Boekhouer.

STEELPOORT – Thaba Moshate Hotel, Casino and Convention Centre is dedicated to continue with responding to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s appeal for the eradication of pit toilets and restoration of dignity for learners and educators.

The resort donated R124,000 towards the conversion of 4 pit toilets to 8 flushing toilet systems at Rehlahleng Special School in Steelpoort – the school accommodates more than 200 disabled learners from grade R to 7.

“No flushing toilets or proper ablution facilities leave learners exposed to a number of life threatening diseases” said the resort’s General Manager, Tshegetso Boekhouer.
