Suspects arrested for the murder of Kgautswana shop owner

According to the spokesperson of the Limpopo SAPS Col Moatshe Ngoepe the suspects allegedly shot and killed a business man in the village on April 14.

BURGERSFORT – Five suspects were arrested for the murder of a 43 year old Kgautswana shop owner last night.

The suspects were found with firearms.

 

The men were apprehended by the Burgersfort Cluster Crime Intelligence Unit and the detectives.

According to the spokesperson of the Limpopo SAPS Col Moatshe Ngoepe the suspects allegedly shot and killed a business man in the village on April 14.

They  also left the shop owner’s assistant seriously injured.

The suspects were found with an  undisclosed amount of cash.

They managed to getaway with an undisclosed amount of money and groceries. The suspects are between the ages of 18 and 34.”

They were arrested during an Intelligence driven operation that was conducted following information received about their hideouts. They were all nabbed at different locations around Tubatse.

They were found with the following items: three firearms and ammunition,cellphones, micro ovens, laptops, speakers, plasma TVs, and a Nissan bakkie.

Some of the equipment seized.

They  are expected to appear before the Praktiseer Magistrate’s Court tomorrow on charges of murder, attempted murder, business robbery, three counts of house breaking and possession of suspected stolen properties.

They will also appear on charges of possession of unlicenced firearm and ammunition.

The SAPS investigations are still continuing in this matter.
