Pro Gratia Learning Centre celebrates Grandparents’ Day in autumn fashion

The Pro Gratia Learning Centre recently celebrated its fifth annual Grandparents’ Day by hosting an autumn-themed fashion show.

Learners were encouraged to bring their grandparents to school dressed in autumn-themed attire, where they were treated to coffee, snacks and “fall-fashioned” cupcakes.

A highly anticipated fashion show followed, where every learner – along with their grandparents – had the opportunity to walk on the runway.

“The learners really enjoyed the fashion show, much to the surprise of many parents,” Ansie Viljoen, deputy principal of Pro Gratia, said.

“A lot of children who usually keep more to themselves, came out of their shells and embraced the day.”

According to Viljoen, prizes were awarded in the categories of best-dressed, originality and spontaneity.
