Lowveld Walkers enjoy a colourful outing

The starting point was in Nelsville and the end at Crocodile Valley Citrus.

The Lowveld Walkers hosted its very first colour group competition on Saturday. It was a fun-filled event that catered for the entire family.

According to Joseph Mashaba, the founder of Lowveld Walkers, it was well attended, and had five participants per group. The starting point was in Nelsville and the end at Crocodile Valley Citrus. The leading group, Team Influence, won a R750 i’langa Mall voucher. The team consisted of Cillester Malele, Angel Sithole, Princess Mogane, Reneiloe Mogane and Doris Mnisi.

The most colourful group – Akani Ntiban, Tebogo Bodibe, Matshidiso Molefe, Gail Nkuna and Zethu Ngema – won a R500 i’langa Mall voucher. The prize for the most colourful parent with a baby in a stroller or baby carrier went to Siphiwe Portia Mashota with baby Keabetswe Lia Mashota. They won a R250 i’langa Mall voucher.

Mashaba said he is happy with Lowveld Walkers’ progress. “We appreciate the way in which the community is warming up to the team and the whole vision. I want to thank the various local companies that are opening their doors for us and sponsoring our vision, it is amazing.”
