Hazyview Sun, the place to be
Nestled in between picturesque plantations and conveniently located near a number of tourist attractions, Hazyview Sun can be added to your destination list without hesitation.

The hotel came under new management towards the end of 2020. It is now run under the Southern Sun brand and no longer that of Protea Marriot. The general manager of the hotel, Thuso Moroe, said this is the biggest message they want to get across, seeing as Southern Sun offers a range of benefits through its loyalty programme, and it is getting the property up to Southern Sun standards.
One spot at the hotel that Moroe proudly considers a bragging point is the boma area.

“Locals like it, internationals like it. We host them for a dinner and sometimes have traditional dances as well.”
But, that is not all it offers. Whether you are travelling for leisure or business purposes, the hotel has everything you will need and more.

What Moroe calls the leisure area offers stunning views of the pool with a scenic back-drop which you can either enjoy from the terrace, or from one of the pool-side chairs while sipping on a cocktail – the bar is conveniently close.

For those on a family trip, there is also a children’s play area. For the businessmen and -women, the hotel offers conference facilities and the entire property comes with uncapped WiFi.

No matter the reason for your stay, a delicious meal is always welcome – the restaurant offers just that. It opens up at 06:00 and closes at 23:00 and guests also have the option of enjoying their meals in the comfort of their rooms. Moroe said the cuisine is truly South African.

The hotel aims to provide each guest with personalised service and from the moment you step into the reception area the friendly staff make you feel right at home.
