Kruger Lowveld Find

Kruger Lowveld Find, a constituent of Kruger Lowveld Tourism, is on a mission to take Lowvelders and visitors alike on a journey through our beautiful region.

Offering a variety of location-based touring apps, players are sent on a quest to various locations where they are given a snippet of interesting information and a small challenge to complete. The mission of this platform is to introduce Lowveld gems to the public that might not otherwise be discovered. Exploring through Lowveld history, landmarks, folk tales and current hotspots, players are encouraged to interact and fully absorb their surroundings.

Kruger Lowveld Find is here to promote and advocate for the Lowveld and everything that it entails. The first Kruger Lowveld Find app was The Lowveld Gold Rush; gold fever struck when gold was found in the Lowveld. With this gold rush came prospectors and three small towns were born. Explore Pilgrim’s Rest, Barberton and Kaapsehoop and follow the path of history on this treasure hunt!

The second Kruger Lowveld Find app was The Lowveld Tipsy Trail; the Lowveld has an impressive array of breweries, distilleries and pubs offering a unique craft experience. Pick and choose where you start and where your next stop will be as you learn, taste and discover the brews of the Lowveld and South Africa.

The apps start with question marks in various locations. Get within 15 metres of these marked points, click on your current location and you will activate a task and release an information snippet. The tasks comprise of uploading a photo, solving a riddle or answering a question. Most importantly, these tasks are absolute fun!

Players stand a chance to win a variety of prizes according to their creativity when taking part in the various challenges. So charge your phone and hop in the car – it is time for a Lowveld road trip! Download TurfHunt from Google Play or App Store and find the Lowveld quests on the map. New apps will be released in the next few months, so keep your eyes on @krugerlowveldfind on Facebook and Instagram for any updates!
