School athletes show off their skills at friendly
Laerskool Malelane invited schools to hold a friendly athletics meeting on Saturday January 29.
The athletes had the opportunity to showcase their talents on the field.
The day motivated the learners to prepare themselves for the more competitive events to come.
The learners from Riverview Preparatory School, Curro Nelspruit and the host school brought their A game to Laerskool Malelane. Many athletes wowed the spectators with their performances. The competition was tough and the schools congratulated each and every one of these athletes.

They scored points for their items according to the Athletics South Africa table. The senior victor ludorum was Luan Small of Laerskool Malelane and the junior victor ludorum was Philipys van Niekerk of Curro.
The senior victrix ludorum was Masechaba Muntsoane of Curro and the junior victrix ludorum was Bronwyn Thabethe of Laerskool Malelane. Masechaba was also announced as the athlete of the day.
