Unwined everything but under par at Mbombela Golf Club

Wine, food and live performances made for the perfect day at this Mbombela venue.

With more than 25 wine estates to sample from, Lowvelders flocked to Mbombela Golf Club for the Unwined Lowveld Wine and Food Show.  While the wine flowed on one side there was food to sample on the other, creating the perfect combination for a Saturday well spent.

To round it off, there were live performances by Anton and Danny Fisher to keep both attendees and stallholders entertained.  Any wine lover was sure to find something to their taste with dry reds and whites as well as their sweeter counterparts to be found. Some stalls also had a bit of bubbly on offer for those feeling slightly more sparkly.

Stallholders were excellently engaging and knowledgeable when it came to their craft or brand, with one even selecting an attendee to open a champagne bottle with a saber, otherwise know as sabrage, the technical term for this adventurous act.
