Enos Mabuza to be done in two weeks

The upgrades to Dr Enos Mabuza Drive will be finished within the next two weeks.  The upgrades to widen the road first started in January 2020 and were expected to be completed within 18 months.

However, due to unforeseen delays, including the moving of two sensitive cables and lots of rain, the completion date was pushed back to June this year. White Hazy Construction’s Japie Visser said the project would be coming to an end in two weeks.

“We are busy with the last lane now. The rain caused some issues with the curing of the different layers of the road, but in two weeks, everything will be completed,” he said.
