Young dancers wow at the Mbombela Civic Centre

Glynnis Modern Dance Studio's talented young dancers were seen strutting their stuff in Mbombela on June 11.

When an audience takes their seats in a theatre and the stage lights go on, a magical hush fills the air.

This was exactly the case at the Mbombela Civic Centre on June 11.

Dancers from Glynnis Modern Dance Studio graced the stage one group after the other and had those in attendance in awe.
It would be surprising for some to realise exactly how much work and energy goes into a dance show, said Glynnis Coetsee, the owner of the studio.

The task of planning costumes, music and choreography is overwhelming and sometimes exhausting, but Coetsee pulled it off flawlessly with the Disney Dance-off, her 40th dance show.

The show was spectacular, featuring 19 group dances with 186 pupils in total.
