PCA facilitates flu vaccines for Katoen

The PCA visited Katoen near White River recently with a volunteer nurse to administer flu vaccines and hand out sweet parcels.

Pediatric Care Africa (PCA) recently ran a flu injection drive for the children and elderly in Katoen.  PCA founder Dr André Hattingh and his team visited Katoen with Sr Kathy de Beer, who administered all the flu vaccines.

Those who received their vaccines were given a sweetie parcel afterwards.  Even Hattingh received a flu injection from De Beer.  “Thank you very much, Sr De Beer, for your very kind assistance with the injections and for settling the nerves and wiping the tears of the little ones who became a bit overwhelmed by the sight of a needle,” said Hattingh. “We strive to protect children from preventable disease and injury.”
