Noble Mbombela woman to be fondly remembered by all
Patricia Field passed away on June 14, following a battle with cancer. Her family, friends and colleagues recently paid their tributes to her.

“Patricia” in Latin means “noble”. And a noble woman she was.
This was confirmed by family members, colleagues and friends alike, who knew and loved Patricia Field, the founder of MPRTC Recruitment.
Patricia Field died on June 14 after being diagnosed with cancer on March 6. Her children, Dawn, Danielle, Vicky and Kevin wrote a tribute to their mother.

They said she saw a need to help her fellow man, and in 1997 established what is now “the leading recruitment agency in Mpumalanga”.

Her motto was always, “There is a place in the sun for everyone”, and she lived by this in all aspects of her life.
“With her mentorship, MPRTC has achieved consecutive PMR Africa Diamond Arrow Awards – first overall Best Personnel Agency. The thousands of testimonies from very grateful candidates, clients and staff attest that what she set out to do, she more than accomplished. We hope to be able to continue this tradition of helping our fellow man.”

Her children said their mother was not only and icon in the business world, but also played a big role in horse riding in the Lowveld. She was an avid orchid collector and was well known on the botanical scene in the area.

“The Mpumalanga community has lost an icon, a champion of the people, a lady who wanted to make a difference and someone who cared. She was a kind soul who always had the greater good in mind.”

She leaves behind her a loving husband of 46 years, her four children and six grandchildren, to whom she meant the world.
The family extended their thanks for the thousands of messages, phone calls and testimonials. “How comforting to know that she was loved by all who were lucky enough to cross her path.”

They said she never did anything for the recognition, and in keeping with this, the family requested that anyone who would like to pay their respects to her, please consider making a donation to the Nelspruit Hospice.
