BURGERSFORT – A local teenager from Praktiseer has been chosen as the finalist in the national pageant,
Miss Teen Universe South Africa.

Katlego Nkoana (12) is competing in the preteen division. She is a model student at the Sekhukhune
Modelling and Pageantry Academy.

Her coaches and mentors describe her as a smart young girl who will stop at nothing to achieve her
dreams. Katlego seeks support from locals to succeed,in her quest of being crowned Miss Preteen Universe.

The Grade Seven pupil of Bogwasha Primary School pleaded for support in order for her to win the public choice award and better her chances of bringing the crown home.

“As a finalist, she is requested to raise a sponsorship of R6 000 to help in the running costs of the event,”
said her coach, Pearl Ngele.

“Let’s help Katlego win the public choice award and raise that sponsorship fee.” She aims at giving a helping hand to community members who are in need and would appreciate donations such as sanitary items, second-hand clothes and perishable food items.
