Manna Church’s Local Gospel Skouspel around the corner

Mark September 16 on your calendar for the 10th Local Gospel Skouspel in aid of Children in Distress.

The sole purpose of the Local Gospel Skouspel is to raise funds for the Children in Distress (CID) charity. The fact that the concert features some of the best local talent, is a massive bonus.

This stunning event will be hosted for the 10th time at the Manna Family Church (between Mbombela and White River) on September 16.

Each artist who forms part of the show freely gives their all and best to the glory of Christ, and for the children who benefit from the funds raised.

The organisers said it was warming and humbling to see the hearts of the artists in the giving of their time and energy, with no monetary compensation at all.

The artists are drawn from local churches and the local community – some of them are already famous in their own right with recordings and performances.
CID is a community-based NPO that was established in 1989 and looks after over 3 000 vulnerable children, their caretakers and the elderly in the greater White River area.

The Local Gospel Skouspel is its main annual fundraiser. By supporting this event, you are helping to feed, clothe and see to the needs of the CID’s beneficiaries.
