Mother of two dies in stabbing incident in Mashishing
The police confirmed that domestic violence could not be ruled out.
Veronica Mhlangu (33) was stabbed on Tuesday October 4, and died of her injuries.
According to neighbours, she called out for help just before 09:00.
She was renting a home in a section known as Hotjie.
The Lydenburg SAPS was dispatched.

“We found Mhlangu and her ex-boyfriend in the house. He also had numerous lacerations and was rushed to Lydenburg Hospital. He died of his injuries later that same day. A case of murder is being investigated.” said Sgt Cave Dilebo, Lydenburg SAPS’s acting spokesperson.
Mhlangu had a son (15) and daughter (9). At the time of her death, they were staying with some family members.
She was employed by the Mashishing Clinic as a professional nurse.
