Penryn Preparatory holds Mer-Tales of a Pirate-y Nature
There were pirates, there were mermaids and a very annoying parrot that kept the audience entertained throughout the play.
Penryn Preparatory’s foundation phase recently put on a magical play filled with pirates, mermaids, seahorses and surfers, much to the delight of all who came to watch.

The school said the play was called Mer-Tales of a Pirate-y Nature and followed a fantastic musical journey, where the seven seas just were not big enough for pirates and mermaids.

“Captain Scarypants’s band of pirates and a crew of feisty mermaids battled it out to be the best! With seahorses, surfers, Hawaiian dancers and an insanely annoying parrot, the show dazzled from beginning to end,” said Penryn Preparatory.

“The pirates and mermaids discovered that although we have our differences in life and don’t always see eye to eye, we can learn to get along and stand together.”
