SANParks warns of booking scam

After becoming aware of a scam involving bookings, SANParks advised guests to use its central reservations system.

A suspicious activity and false advertisement about the Skukuza Safari Lodge has been brought to SANParks’ attention, the entity said in a social media warning on Tuesday May 2.

In the warning SANParks said guests are being directed to a none SANParks website that requests guests to book for promotions at the lodge.

“This site also requests guests to pay via E-wallet or cash send. Please be advised that SANParks will never ask a guest to pay by E-wallet or cash send.”

SANParks advised guests to go via the central reservations for assistance to avoid being scammed while trying to book for the lodge.
