Two home wins on the trot for Laeveld Ratels

An excellent team effort saw the Laeveld Ratels defeat a gutsy KaMhluswa Rugby Club (Black Cats) 27-7 at the Winterveld Stadium in Steelpoort on Saturday May 13.

It was the Ratels’ second consecutive home win since the start of the 2023 Ehlanzeni Rugby League.

Buoyed by the home fans, they attacked from the onset, managing to score three tries in the first half.

In the second stanza, the Ratels continued where they had left off, scoring two tries before the Black Cats
managed a consolation try.

Laeveld Ratels’ management indicated that they will take each game as it comes ahead of the tough schedule in
the league.
