Good Hope Christian Academy spreads warmth and kindness to the needy

The school recently handed blankets to more than 100 needy people.

Good Hope Christian Academy, a primary school in Burgersfort, recently embarked on a heart-warming community outreach programme, which aims to give back to the most vulnerable members of the community.

“Because of the cold winter weather, the school realised there are elderly, orphans and people with disabilities who do not have warm clothes and blankets during this season, and we decided to extend a helping hand by giving out blankets to these needy people,” said Leonard Ndlovu of Good Hope.

More than 100 needy people received blankets from the school. The recipients thanked the school and pledged their support to the institution.

“Good Hope Christian Academy would like the elderly members of our community to know that they are not alone in their struggles, and we will continue to do our best to assist them in their challenges,” Ndlovu added.
