Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine launches new online application process

As we enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technology is slowly transforming our lives. This was evident when Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine (DCM) launched its online recruitment process at the Lydenburg Civic Centre on Monday October 10.

A roadshow was held to introduce the brand-new electronic application process to job seekers in Lydenburg and surrounding areas.

The user-friendly application process will not only make it easier for job seekers and DCM’s human resources department, but it will also speed up the application process.

To apply for a job, job seekers must register online and provide personal information all the way to the bottom of the application. Then they must complete the registration process by attaching their CV and clicking the submit button. Upon completing the registration process, you will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your account.

Remember Mbengwa, a sustainable development manager.

“Today, we will show you how we have simplified the application process for you. In the past, applications were sent through letters. Every day, technology advances. We are here to show you that the mining industry has also tapped into the fourth industrial revolution so that we are not left behind,” said Remember Mbengwa of DCM.

A new online recruitment process has been launched internally at DCM, according to Mamagase Nchabeleng, the communication officer. “It was launched internally for our employees to use. Now it’s time to take it to the communities. We are planning to start here in Lydenburg, and then we will move on to other places.”
