New owners take over Bistro Bistro in Mbombela

The popular Steiltes Shopping Centre eatery is undergoing a makeover ahead of its official reopening.

Wynand Visagie and André Bester are the new owners behind one of Mbombela’s favourite dining spots, Bistro Bistro, at Steiltes Shopping Centre

The duo aims to bring fresh energy, passion, and culinary creativity to the tables.

Bringing extensive hospitality experience to the table, Visagie and Bester aim to honour the eatery’s roots while elevating the dining experience.

To celebrate the transition, the bistro is undergoing a stylish makeover featuring warm textures, updated lighting, and refreshed bar and dining areas.

While classic favourites will remain on the menu, guests can look forward to seasonal updates, an expanded local wine list, and vibrant specials.

“We are incredibly proud to step into this role,” said Visagie. “Bistro Bistro already has a fantastic legacy, and our goal is to build on that foundation with a rejuvenated look and a few exciting surprises on the horizon.”

Bistro Bistro officially reopens to the public on Friday, October 30.
