No justice for Max as case is withdrawn

On Wednesday Lowvelder was informed that the case has been withdrawn due to a lack of evidence.

MBOMBELA – Lowvelder has been hot on the heels of a gruesome story which shocked the community. The first article,  Geliefde hond wreedaardig doodgemartel, reported the horrific abuse of the husky named Max.

Shortly after the publication of that story,  angry readers took to social media to express their shock and disgust at the brutal beating which lead to the death of the dog. The post reached 45 600 people on Facebook.

Thereafter, the newspaper presented the follow-up article : Spahn family reacts to torture death of husky.
