Signs of life from below on Day 4 of Lily Mine collapse

A service ground pillar had allegedly collapsed, an area at the top of the mine where a building is situated.

LOW’S CREEK – Mr Christo De Klerk, CEO of Mines Rescue Services SA, this morning confirmed that there is indeed signs of life coming from the depths of the mine.

Today marks the fourth day of the Lily Mine tragedy and countless rescue workers have been working around the clock with the hopes of safely returning three mine employees to the surface.
