LYDENBURG – Emergency personnel carrying an injured man from a mountain slope. This follows after two men were trapped in a truck that veered on the Longtom Pass into a mountain slope on Friday, October 14.
The slope is 40 metres deep. The two were trapped for more than four hours while the emergency personnel were busy trying to free them from the truck cabin. The weather was not favourable, it was misty, drizzling and very cold yet the team did not let that stop them.
