Crash recovery still under way in Elands Valley

The N4 between Elandshoek and the Kaapsehoop intersection is still partially closed.

This follows a crash involving two articulated trucks at about 21:30 last night, November 6.

The recovery is still in progress. Monica Fourie of Van Wettens Breakdown Services confirmed that their team has been working on it since.

One of the trucks carried a load of planks that had to be unloaded to another truck as part of the recovery.

The westbound lanes are closed. TRACN4’s contraflow is in place.
Motorists are advised to approach with caution or use the Schoemanskloof to avoid delays.

Lowvelder has not received any confirmation of injuries reported.
