Four of Malelane Primary School's pupils have been chosen to represent the Ehlanzeni Chess Union at the South African Chess Championship to be held in Durban during the December school holidays.

Four of Malelane Primary School’s pupils have been chosen to represent the Ehlanzeni Chess Union at the South African Chess Championship to be held in Durban during the December school holidays. The boys are Juan van den Bergh, Richard de Fario Rocha, Riandré van der Merwe and Gert Delport.

They are raising funds to cover their costs for this prestigious event by selling raffle tickets.

The following prizes are up for grabs:

1. Malalane Toyota Car Wash – six full car washes for one luck winner

2. Ndlovu Restaurant – buffet lunch on Sunday for two people

3. Boma Restaurant – four pizzas from the menu

4. Salon Shavonne – one hair wash, cut and blow wave with foot massage

5. BUCO Malalane – gift voucher to the value of R500

6. Malelane Gym – one month free gym exercise and joining fee

7. Collette Hairdresser – one haircut

8. 12 Callaway golf balls

9. Chrissie’s Restaurant – breakfast for two persons.

10. Adam and Eve – one neck, shoulder and back massage, for one person.
