Boat Bass Competition

Primkop Dam near White River was the recent location for the small-boat bass competition.
Anglers of White River, Hazyview and Nelspruit all competed to see who could land the biggest bass. Although the heat was almost all the participants showed great determination on the day.
Various lures with different kinds of bait were used but it was Jacque Woller and Marius Burger who ruled the water. Woller and Burger caught an outstanding bag wieighing 7,.47kg to make them the winners. In second were Emjay Smit and Juandre Koch with a bag of 6,45kg.
The day concluded with a prize-giving in which the winners were rewarded with fishing equipment.
